Cally munchy x Wireless festival

Written By Yang Wenyi

We had an incredible time at the Wireless Festival this past weekend—one of the world’s biggest music festivals—where we served up our signature Afro Load & Fries at Finsbury Park, London.

This year’s festival featured a powerhouse lineup, including icons like Nicki Minaj, Sean Paul, and Future, drawing fans from across the globe. Alongside these legends, rising stars such as Ice Spice, Gunna, and Sexy Red brought fresh energy to the stage. Afrobeats and Amapiano artists like Asake, Shalipopi, Rema, and Uncle Waffles added their distinct sounds, making this year’s event more diverse and vibrant than ever. The fusion of cultures, incredible performances, and perfect summer weather made it an unforgettable weekend.

Wireless was more than just music—it was a true celebration of culture, with food playing a starring role. Finsbury Park turned into a global street food paradise, and we were proud to be a part of it with our Cally Munchy Afro-Fusion Load Fries. Our signature dish featured American-style loaded fries topped with our special Shi-tuan (Sichuan-Ghanaian) chili oil, Afro chili mayo, and chili jam. For protein options, we offered:

Cally Chicken – Nigerian and Bengali spiced chicken

Suya Chicken – Traditional Nigerian grilled chicken

Jamaican-style BBQ Oxtail

Calliflower – Afro-spiced cauliflower for our vegan friends

We finished it all off with a bold African twist on Mexican pico de gallo salsa.

A huge thank you to everyone who came by to support us. We hope you enjoyed the music, the food, and the amazing vibes as much as we did!
